"A movie so polarizing it only gets 1 or 5 star reviews," Napoleon Dynamite is the movie you either love or hate. There's literally no in between and I happen to love this movie.
Another fun thing about the movie is that it leaves you with so many questions... like what the hell did I just watch? What was that about? Or my favorite and I was actually this many years old when I found out that it was indeed, supposed to happen in the 2004/2005 school year (I swore it was supposed to be the 80's or early 90's). Napoleon Dynamite was such a bizarre movie with a main character unlike any we had ever met before. Napoleon was a nerd, but he wasn't some genius... he was just really socially awkward and completely unaware. Which, oddly enough, makes for a really polarizing movie.
Thank you for the laughs and one of my most favorite dance scenes of all time (you can sit this one out Dirty Dancing).
